About The Founder

Founder Jim Snyder’s client expertise began while working at Washington Natural Gas (later Puget Sound Energy), supervising projects that were sometimes out of the ordinary.  After pursuing degrees in project management and engineering, and supervising a number of unique and forward-thinking projects (including running the first high pressure lines down the Burke-Gillman trail and installing two miles of forage conduit for future fiber optics), Jim parted ways with PSE, eventually becoming a project manager for another energy company.  He was struck by the number of clients who were dealing with similar overlapping issues and as a result, formed Snyder Gas Consulting in 2011.
